Small Groups

Small Groups

We are a Small Group driven church.

The purpose of Small Groups is to foster communities that love, follow, and honour Jesus. Small Groups are typically a combination of Bible study, worship, prayer, and fellowship but each group has its own flavour. In Small Groups, we do life together and share where we are encountering Christ, because there is life when we encounter Christ.

Leaders: Rick and Deanna Showers

Description: “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” Prov 23:7. This is uncomfortably true. We are WHERE we are in life as a result of how we think–NOT circumstances, NOT luck, NOT “the breaks.”  Renewing our minds to the timeless truth of the Word and God’s principles and laws make for the abundant life Jesus spoke of. Our desire is that participants are challenged, inspired and activated to see themselves as “captains of their own ships.” Courageously launching out toward the higher calling of life in Christ.

There are rooms and areas for babies to sleep and children to play, but participants are responsible for finding babysitters to watch their children during the Small Group.
